Floor Sun Salutations

Moving your body can do a couple of things: it can help you move the stress hormones through and out, and it can help you to exist more fully in your body.
Why would you want to exist more in your body when the world is on fire? It's your body that does the acting that your brain tells it to do. You can't expect to live effectively, and more importantly make effective change, when you aren't in your body.
You can also begin to learn to trust yourself more when you are embodied, because you begin to learn the cues that mean you are approaching overload, rather than waiting for that overload to shut everything down.
With that said, here are some floor sun salutations that can get you moving. If you have touchy knees they might not be the best choice--in that case, look for the chair yoga post or some upcoming chair practices.
